Experience the Healing Touch of Reflexology
Natural Healing & Biomagnetism
What is Reflexology ?
Rooted in Ancient Traditional Medicine, Reflexology works by applying pressure to points on the feet, hands or face which correspond to organs, bones, nerves and all the body's various systems. The idea is to stimulate and balance these points to encourage good energy flow to the mind, body and spirit. It's a restorative and relaxing complementary therapy that has been proven to help reduce stress and enhance wellbeing.

What Happens in a Treatment?
In your first session, I will take a consultation - a medical history - then I will ask you to remove your shoes and socks and lie on the therapy couch. There aren't many contraindications with this therapy but unstable heart conditions, diabetes and pregnancy may limit the work we can do together.
All being well, I will begin to work on your feet with a gentle warm up massage and then proceed to give your feet a full exploratory reflexology treatment - that means I will work all the foot reflexes for a full body treatment where I can establish if you have any imbalances in your body.
From there, I will work out a Reflexology Treatment Plan for your next visit. This means, the Plan will include all the reflexes that would be beneficial uniquely to you. For example, if you were suffering from IBS, I would plan to work all of the reflexes pertaining to the Digestive System.
How Many Sessions Would You Recommend?
I have clients who come once a month for general wellbeing and relaxation. It really depends on why you need Reflexology. If you have a digestive issue, for example, having 3 treatments over 3 weeks may solve the problem completely. Other more chronic conditions may take longer. This is why the first exploratory treatment is necessary - to establish where you are on your health journey and the best way to proceed.
Reflexology is very relaxing and Clients often fall asleep during the treatment and report feeling really energised the next day. It's good for all ages, from babies to elderly.
